Hiring > Software Developers

You are a personable software engineer who prefers finding technical solutions to various business problems over extensively writing code (though you don’t shy away from that, either). You’re capable of quickly learning new codebases and architectures, and have a knack for translating business needs into technical decisions. You’re excited about being external-facing, and have great communication skills, an insatiable intellectual curiosity, and a general passion for all bleeding-edge technologies.

  • Provide hands-on technical guidance to Corp9 ecosystem projects and teams using our dev tools, APIs, and smart contracts
  • Work with our Ecosystem Development team to identify, engage, and onboard key projects that would benefit from integrating with Corp9
  • Strategise on the most efficient and effective paths towards helping external projects reach their goals, and assist in integration
  • Gather and compile feedback from external developer and market making teams, and liaise with our core DevEx, Protocol, and Growth teams to iterate on our roadmap and propose improvements
  • Contribute to the codebases of open-source projects building on Corp9 and related technologies where necessary

  • Ability to write very high-quality, well-tested code
  • 3+ years of engineering experience
  • Ability to learn and adapt to a rapidly evolving tech stack
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • The ability to appropriately tailor technical messages to audiences of diverse cultural and technical backgrounds
  • Experience working with a broad set of languages, projects, and parts of the stack (and the ability to pick up new technologies very quickly)
  • Passion for the benefits of the Corp9 mission
  • Exhibit our core values: do the right thing, consistently ship, and focus on long-term impact

  • Prior experience working directly with customers or devs (realised or potential) that have used tools or projects you’ve developed
  • Knowledge of Python, Rust, and/or Go

  • Competitive salary and additional cryptocurrency-based compensation
  • Comprehensive insurance (medical/dental/vision)
  • Monthly mobile phone bill, wellness, and transportation reimbursement
  • Flexible hours, liberal work-from-home policy, and a supportive remote environment
  • Take vacation when you need it (and we really mean it — three weeks/year minimum)
